Fire of Cambria

Eleven centuries ago, blue fire from the Hallowed Crown brought the coming of a cosmic winter. A frozen vestige of the Witchspace Prophets was set loose upon the worlds of Gondwana, the titan's binding chains torn asunder somewhere deep beyond the veil.
From the blue fire ignited, a fell storm raged from beyond the horizon of reality and brought forth ice and darkness swallowing the stars. Fleets and nations were swept away, the dreamers saw no omens in their sleep and the oracles knew no truths. The frontiers shattered, worlds lay still, the stars fell into slumber. And for nigh-on one millennium, the star frontier of Gondwana belonged to the Twin Civilizations no more. But in the ice entombed, its peoples yet endured.
Cast into space, onto lone isles and bastions of civilization, buried deep near their planet's beating cores, or struggling against darkness by their faith in the Celestial Light, there remained civilization in spite of the waking vestige. Now at last, the titan passed, striving forth into extra-galactic darkness. And the ice recedes and new starlight wakes, and the worlds of Gondwana come alive again.
On this day, the Gates of Cambria are thrown open, and a fleet goes forth into the late winter's cold embrace.
This will be a chronicle of the travelling Agathauma, of the starship pioneers venturing into the unknown, to recall and rediscover that which was once Gondwana, and that which has been made anew. In the wake of cosmic cold apocalypse, the ships of the Mechanist Union carry fire in their hearts. A fire enough to reignite the Celestials' rule over all worlds of this frontier.
