For the Bonfire Stars project, I want to differentiate between 'major' and 'minor' lore.
In previous projects, everything was collected in one place, be it a wiki or gallery. Personally, I found this somewhat confusing, since the broad strokes of a setting would quickly become mixed with minor details.
To address this issue, lore on the Bonfire Stars will be collected in two different places:
MAJOR LORE, information about the setting at large, is archived in the "Codex" and "Astrography" pages of the main website. No more nested wiki structures or dozens of individual enentriestires! Just two big pages with buttons that'll take you to any section that interests you.
MINOR LORE, like individual ships, events & story snippets, is archived in the "Blog" (& my DA gallery, of course). In the Blog, individual entries will be tagged and categorized. Plus, there's the 'search' function for the entirety of the page. So - all the small details about the universe will still be accessible, but not clutter the main lore sections.
Of course, all of this is very much work in progress and therefore changes may be made to this structure in the future. Still, I hope this will make things easier to watch!
