I've taken a few weeks to focus on a single project again, this time a fully-fledged spaceship model for Bonfire Stars. This includes a full interior for cutaways and detailed datasheets - but also enough detail for proper interior-tour animations.
This first video is still very much an experiment, and there are some elements I'd change for a second run. But instead of tweaking this one endlessly, I'll try to carry these improvements over to another iteration.
A dive below the starship's armored hull reveals the vast, complex machinery sustaining the body from within. Pipes and chambers of the plasma flow, conduits of riving energy, and brightly lit compartments to sustain the fragile crew – wrapped in layers of insulation and steel, the multitude of components is combined into a single whole.
