Strategion II - at the Kindred Fortress

The Council voted narrowly last time to seek out the Kindred Fortress.

This is an opportunity to inspect the fleet and shape its future composition.

Choose which force to add to the fleet's strength!

1. Six Cutters, excellent as deep space scouts and flanking assault craft. While their firepower is limited, they afford the fleet the greatest degree of reach and flexibility, and crucial reconnaissance for any offensive action.

   
   

2. Two Fifth-Rates, capable raiders and ships-of-the-line. These are the most versatile ships on offer, adding considerable strength to the fleet while being able to operate alone on raiding missions. However, they offer neither as much fire power as a fourth-rate, nor the same reconnaissance range as half a dozen Cutters.

   
   

3. One Fourth-Rate ship-of-the-line, unparalleled firepower, and firepower alone. A mighty warship, but one that can only bring its full strength to bear as part of the fleet.
