Imperial Trantor
Updated: Sep 16
Noble Houses of the Terran Empire
Trantor is governed by imperial lords chosen from the midst of their worlds by the grace of the exalted Celestial Illumina Calhall. Each rules at their own devices, bound only by the Crown’s tithe and law.
The five high Noble Houses of Trantor are forever engaged in a great game for power. Among their own they compete and quarrel, but external threats they meet with an unmatched allegiance to the Terran Empire and one another.
In the wake of Gondwana’s Cosmic Winter, the Imperial Houses of Trantor have reclaimed many of their worlds by means of mission, diplomacy, and trade. But as the outer borders of their territories are being drawn again, some houses consider this a time to settle old scores, and feuds among some high imperial houses have grown into open skirmishes.
